Executive, Legal Admin (2-Year Contract)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provides a broad range of routine paraprofessional, technical, and administrative support services to the General Counsel, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings and handling correspondences.
Prepare and manage budgets for the legal and secretariat department.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for budgeting purposes.
Maintain databases of key records, website postings of policies and procedures.
Organize and maintain confidential legal documents, records, and files.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for the General Counsel.
Maintain department calendars and monitor time-sensitive deadlines for legal matters.
Coordinate reporting by the different teams within the department.
Act as a liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Undertake general office management tasks, such as coordinating logistics for department meetings and events, such as the annual Group Functional Meet.
Support General Counsel in any ad hoc initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in any field.
Proven experience in providing comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals or in a corporate setting.
Conscientious and meticulous with good organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
Excellent team player with commitment and drive to succeed in an enterprising corporate environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
