Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical PE, who demonstrates strong communication skills with clients, peers, and colleagues. Our ideal candidate is someone with proven success in business development within consultancy services and possesses leadership or management potential. Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in Data Centre design. They should be eager to explore and further develop their leadership and management skills.
We invite you to bring your expertise into play as you will have the opportunity to support local and international projects and will work closely with our multidisciplinary engineers and consultants across our network.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Lead and guide a team of Mechanical Engineers from due diligence, design, tender, contract documentation, authority submissions, construction supervision to project completion
Lead consultancy projects as Consultant Team Leader or Project Manager
Provide project oversight to ensure within schedule, budget and quality
Act as mentor to young engineers
Advise engineers on technical, project admin and contractual issues
Work with engineers to discuss and resolve technical issues
Able to be work hands-on to design and specify mechanical systems such as Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation and Fire Protection systems
Review, endorse and submit documents, design calculations and drawings to authorities and for certificate of completions as Professional Engineer (Mechanical)
Chair and lead client-consultant meetings
Perform any duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirement:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Registered as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
Conversant of Singapore Standards, Code of Practices and authorities’ submission processes and requirement
Conversant of mechanical engineering design software, BIM and CFD software
Preferably with at least 5 years of design and construction supervision experience in M&E Consultancy firm(s)
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity in Data Centre industry will be a bonus
