The Engineering Manager has the main responsibility that the project is delivered according to the technical scope, to the customer’s requirements, in schedule, in budget and is the main contact towards the customer. The Project Manager works on project tasks together with the project team and other departments which are supporting the project execution. Main project tasks are project control & planning, budget follow up, PV engineering, mechanical engineering, electricity & automation, technical & quality documentation, purchasing & logistics, document control, etc. The work includes travelling (Singapore & India).

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Carry out feasibility studies, research cost estimates, study and provide duration estimates and meet authorities' regulations for projects.
- Perform infrastructure planning, engineering design, planning and assessment of ground conditions.
- Prepare project briefs and lead in tender preparation to select and appoint project consultants and contractors.
- Prepare, check, and confirm technical drawings, project schedule, balance of system, manpower and workload forecast, budgets and cashflow projection, and any other necessary project related requirements.
- Complete assigned projects on schedule and within budget
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and inter-department stakeholders to facilitate coordinated project execution.
- Supervise the construction of the project with high attention to technical execution quality, safety, time, and budget, complying with contractual agreements, quality control, and customer expectations.
- Ensure all authority submissions required are prepared and submitted to execute the projects.
- Propose and implement corrective measures to problems / difficulties found while project execution and share such learning experiences with the rest of the team to build departmental experience.
- Manage the full construction from pre
- to post-construction and handover of the system to the client.
- Perform Testing & Commissioning activities to verify project safety and quality.
- Ensure smooth delivery of the project completion/System Turn On
- Identify any potential safety risks within projects and putting in place strategies to mitigate any risks.
- Ensure all required Environmental, Health and Safety requirements are met.
- Prepare reporting with various levels of detail to communicate the progress and status of the project to different internal stakeholders within the company.
- Give feedback of products’ defects and non-quality issues for future corrections and procurement

**Requirements**:

- Good technical understanding about solar PV and Power plants
- Professional degree in Electrical Engineering field
- Experience of minimum 8-10 years working for Engineering, EPC contractors and/or Utility/Electrical companies
- Proven track record in Project Management, Project Engineering, HSSE, Procurement
- Ability to prepare a variety of documentation / reporting to serve different purposes.
- Software Skills (Must) **:PVSyst, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Helioscope, MS Office -Project.**:

- Goal-oriented, driven, and resilient, able to work in teams, quick learner.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, with good interpersonal skills for interdepartmental coordination
- Fluent in English - spoken and written.
- Frequent Travel required (India, Malaysia, etc)
