Job Description
SymphonyAI Retail CPG is looking for an accomplished
VP APAC Enterprise Sales
and will play a pivotal role in spearheading the expansion of our business in the India & APAC region. This role entails driving revenue growth, fostering a high-performance sales team, and nurturing strategic relationships with key clients, with significant strategic impact on the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute the sales strategy for India and the APAC region to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets, with a primary focus on the Indian market and strategic expansion across the APAC region.
Identify new market opportunities, segments, and industries for sustained growth and expansion in India and APAC.
Own Annual Sales Quota of $10M with a past track record of hitting targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in India and APAC, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions addressing their specific challenges and objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the retail and CPG industries within the Indian and APAC markets.
Market Expansion:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and market expansion in India and APAC.
Identify strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels to expand market reach and drive revenue growth in India and APAC.
Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities and foster strategic alliances.
Revenue Growth and Reporting:
Monitor and report on sales performance in India and APAC, providing regular updates to the SVP of Sales - APAC and executive leadership team.
Develop and manage the sales budget for India and APAC, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing revenue and profitability.
Implement pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives in the Indian and APAC markets.
Pre-requisites:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 12-16 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion, preferably in the software, AI, or technology sector, with a focus on retail or CPG.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, with demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets in competitive and dynamic markets.
Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, with experience in implementing effective sales processes, tools, and systems to optimize sales performance and enhance productivity.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a culture of excellence and innovation, and lead by example with integrity and professionalism.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the agility to adapt to changing market dynamics and drive results in a dynamic and challenging market landscape.
In-depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data analytics is advantageous, with a passion for staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and manage sales budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions to maximize revenue and profitability.
