This exciting proposition allows you to work with Etiqa, a leader in the insurance sector, optimizing your unique skill set, and getting onboard our journey towards "Making The World A Better Place ".RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Head of Life Operations, the Underwriting Manager will perform new business underwriting assessment, achieve underwriting KPI through active case management and partake in underwriting related projects. Perform new business underwriting assessment within assigned authority, achieving KPIs through active case management. Negotiate with reinsurers for best offer for benefit of customers during facultative underwriting. Maintain and update life underwriting guidelines and other application documents for New Business. Review on underwriting rules and update in AIS/IUW Process new policy applications, conduct quality checks within the departments TAT. Manage and build, a proactive and productive relationship with internal stakeholders. Participate in product development, data analysis and preparation of management report Provide support and training to distribution channels on underwriting requirements. Review and identify areas of process improvement Support in system enhancement, UAT testing and automation initiatives Any other projects as assigned REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years of life underwriting experience (IUL underwriting experience preferred) Professional qualification in Life Insurance Experience in product development, business administration and client relationship management Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent analytical skills, ability to define, research and resolve problems Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and work effectively under deadlines Committed, take ownership and results-driven **We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
