Overview As Head of Communications Asia Pacific Lufthansa Group, you are responsible to lead the development and execution of communication strategies that strengthen Lufthansa Group’s reputation across the region. This role oversees internal and external communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement for all Lufthansa Group airlines and entities in Asia Pacific. Responsibilities Drive integrated communication strategies for all channels and business units in APAC. Identify and manage key topics for regional and global communications. Develop and deliver innovative PR and media campaigns. Position Lufthansa Group effectively with partners and stakeholders. Adapt and implement global communication strategies to reflect regional priorities. Manage agency partners and ensure consistent brand messaging across markets. Organize media events, press briefings, and familiarization trips. Serve as the regional spokesperson and primary media contact. Advise and support leaders on communication strategy and media engagement. Coach executives for interviews and public appearances. Maintain regular communication with and provide updates to senior management in the region. Lead regional communication projects and internal conferences and act as the key interface between headquarters and local markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with media, opinion leaders and stakeholders. Lead and develop a regional communications team. Administrative and special tasks, as required. Requirements Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. Extensive experience in corporate communications and/or media relations Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple markets. Strong knowledge of the aviation and travel industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English. Strategic thinker with initiative, creativity and strong decision-making skills. Collaborative team player and able to perform under pressure. Willingness to travel extensively within the region and internationally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
