As a key member of the HR team, you will play an essential role in supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) by managing a range of HR matters within designated business unit(s). Your contributions will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services to key stakeholders within the University.
Responsibilities
Recruitment: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and HR Shared Services teams to manage administrative processes, ensuring timely hiring of the right talent for the business unit
Contract Renewals: Coordinate with key stakeholders to administer contract renewals for researchers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies
Performance management: Support the HRBP during the performance management cycle, including tracking timelines, helping People Managers understand performance management tools and practices, and consolidating data to facilitate discussions
Ensure that HR data is accurate and assist in preparation of HR reports and key updates to facilitate decision-making
Provide HR advisory services regarding the university's policies and work processes
Collaborate with the HRBP and HR Centres of Expertise on HR projects, including policy and process reviews
Qualifications
Degree with at least 3 years of experience in human resources administration or a related field. Candidates with prior experience of working in an educational / academic / research environment would have an added advantage
Highly attentive to details, ability to multi-task and manage deliverables under tight timelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving HR needs
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
Candidates with prior experience in using Workday system would have an advantage
