Job Title:
Customer Onboarding Specialist
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Verify customer identities by scrutinizing documents, conducting thorough research, and utilizing onboarding tools and databases.
  • Conduct due diligence checks to assess risk levels and identify potential suspicious activities.
  • Authenticate and validate customer-provided documents to confirm their genuineness.
  • Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulations and anti-money laundering laws.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer information and due diligence for auditing purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • No less than 4-5 years of operational experience in customer onboarding.
  • ACAMS certification is highly desirable.
  • Must have expertise in onboarding processes, remediation, and anti-money laundering.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and process development skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
