Job Role Summary

  • The Private Banking team requires a specialist to ensure client onboarding and review requirements align with Bank's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
  • End-to-end account opening/review process oversight is essential, ensuring relevance and completeness of KYC information, and performing due diligence checks.
  • Communication with relevant stakeholders, such as Compliance and Client Management, and timely escalation of red flags or alerts are crucial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Source of Wealth/Funds Corroboration and its importance in the AML/KYC process.
  • Ensure alignment of onboarding and review requirements with Bank's regulatory standards.
  • Verify relevance and completeness of KYC information through thorough due diligence checks.
  • Oversight end-to-end account opening/review process, communicating with stakeholders as necessary.
  • Timely escalate red flags/alerts and follow up on client onboarding/client review related matters.
  • Prepare required KYC screening list for new/existing clients.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and provide support duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in KYC/AML areas.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Certifications in AML are advantageous.
