Key Responsibilities of a Human Resource Professional

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources functions. This professional will play a vital role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing HR policies and procedures in line with local employment laws.
  • Overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Managing compensation, benefits, and payroll administration in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Driving performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and employee development plans.
  • Providing HR advisory support to management and employees on all HR-related matters.
  • Managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
  • Designing and implementing learning & development initiatives to support staff growth.
  • Leading employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Preparing HR reports, tracking KPIs, and providing insights to senior management for decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in English (and Chinese if required).
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Certification (e.g., IHRP, SHRM, CIPD) is advantageous.
