Executive - Industry Development & Research

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting innovation, decarbonisation and renewables within the marine sector.

About the Role

  • SUPPORT ASMI'S SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE (SIC)

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to facilitate transformation of the marine sector towards a low emissions future economy.

  • ADVANCE MARINE DECARBONISATION

This includes administering the Marine Decarbonisation Champions (MDC) Programme, organising MDC collateral activities, and engaging external stakeholders including government agencies towards programme objectives.

  • ORGANISE THE MARINE AND OFFSHORE SYMPOSIUM

The Executive will also coordinate and manage the annual industry thought leadership event, showcasing innovative efforts and initiatives in the marine sector, and engaging ASMI members and other external stakeholders towards symposium objectives.

  • GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

In addition, the successful candidate will provide support to other events and activities as and when required, undertake special projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned, and assist with Grant writing for LEAD Programme for the Association.
