Job Opportunity: Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers: Ensure accurate records are maintained with confidentiality, handling patient information with care and discretion.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule internal and external appointments for patients as instructed by doctors, utilizing effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ward Operations: Ensure the ward is operationally ready and meets service standards, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Financial Counselling: Provide basic financial counselling to patients and their next-of-kin upon request, offering guidance and support during difficult times.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and stock levels within the assigned ward, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Supportive Role: Assist doctors and nurses as a chaperone and support administrative tasks throughout the patient's stay, providing exceptional support and care.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform ad-hoc duties as required to support ward operations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Min. Nitec or GCE 'O' Level qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in healthcare principles and practices.
  • Shift Work: Able to work rotating shifts and weekends, showcasing flexibility and commitment to meeting operational demands.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Team Player: Responsible, organized, and a team player, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
