Key Responsibilities The Sustainability Business Partner, a member of the Food Solution team, has the overall responsibility to serve as a trusted partner to the Food Solution BU for the purpose of improving the business’s performance in key Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) areas. The role reports to COO, FS Singapore & Thailand with a dotted reporting line to VP, Global Head, ESG/Sustainability. The Sustainability Business Partner for Food Solution BU, based in Singapore, will be required to collaborate and engage frequently with various stakeholders ranging from business units, cross-functional departments including corporate teams at the Singapore headquarters, to external service providers for the planning, tracking, and reporting of ESG initiatives and their outcomes. The Sustainability Business Partner acts as the secretary of the Food Solution ESG Council, which is chaired by the designated Sustainability Sponsor from the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and steer Food Solution ESG Council to ensure engagement and buy-in of Sustainability agenda across Food Solution leadership team. Support Food Solution CEO for his GMB/SSRMC Meetings. Manage and improve ESG data collection processes and quality for the Food Solution BU and contribute to annual Sustainability Report with Food Solution stories. Develop and implement tailored Food ESG roadmaps with the support of relevant subject matter experts in the Global ESG team that reflect local context, regulatory environment, and business needs. Lead, coordinate, or contribute to Food Solution BU Sustainability projects such as Project R, Waste Master; project Food Print, the modernization of buildings; local ESG certification efforts, etc. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with regional Food Solution ecosystem. Provide ESG support & subject matter expertise for SG Hub teams upon request. Key Requirements Qualifications and Experience Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in project management, corporate transformation, change management, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years in an ESG-related role. Knowledge: Deep understanding of ESG principles, good knowledge of product carbon footprint, sustainable packaging, food waste, life cycle assessment. Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions fostering a cooperative and harmonious work environment. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Results-orientation: strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes and delivering against ESG targets. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
