Job Description:

As a seasoned Cloud Platform Architect , you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure using AWS-native services and best practices. You will drive end-to-end automation across provisioning, patching, monitoring, and alerting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure using AWS-native services and best practices.
  • Drive end-to-end automation across provisioning, patching, monitoring, and alerting processes.
  • Lead teams in cloud administration, DevOps, and automation.
  • Participate in out-of-hours administration activities as required to maintain platform reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years hands-on with AWS and infrastructure/platform engineering.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS services (compute, networking, storage, databases).
  • Proven experience leading teams in cloud administration, DevOps, and automation.
  • Proficient in scripting using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
  • Solid grasp of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (or ability to certify within 3-6 months).
  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
  • Exposure to FinOps and cost governance in AWS environments.
