Cloud Architect - Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our team in architecting, building, and deploying containerized and/or serverless applications in the cloud.

This role is pivotal in supporting Razer's ever-growing ecosystem of microservices, data pipelines, and AI workloads.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy microservice applications on AWS.
  • Architect and drive development of multi-region enablement projects to enhance our existing suite of single region microservices.
  • Develop and take ownership of critical and high-traffic Razer ID APIs microservices under your portfolio.
  • Design and build Web APIs to interface with AI/ML models and integrate them into our software ecosystem.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines to support AI/ML workflows and analytics.
  • Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-native software engineering with a focus on container and serverless technology.
  • Proficient programming languages commonly used in the cloud like Golang, PHP, and Python.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs for integrating AI/ML models.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo or Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles such as Agile and SCRUM.
  • Working knowledge of internet technologies such as load-balancing, caching, and CDNs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for teamwork.
