Job Title: Chief Cloud Architect Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure that supports our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, identify, and implement optimal cloud solutions for customers.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and security engineers on operations, security-related audits, and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on cloud architecture design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the implementation of cloud infrastructure, including alerts, monitoring, and review tools to ensure security, availability, and performance.
  • Oversee vulnerability / security updates and firmware patches.
  • Monitor and manage the status of backups and perform disaster recovery when required.
  • Respond to cloud infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Strong background in operating system administration for Linux/Unix and/or Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Proficient in networking concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls).
  • Good knowledge of industry-standard security compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Hands-on experience in managing public cloud including developing and deploying large, scalable production applications on cloud/IaaSs, PaaS platforms, and Containers.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps software development tools and methodologies is a plus.
  • Cloud service providers' certification is a plus.
