Job Title: Marine Operational Director

The Marine Operational Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless execution of ship operations. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including crew resource allocation and vessel maintenance.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and ensure adherence to ISM system principles.
  • Collaborate with marine superintendents to prepare for Oil Major inspections and maintain smooth vessel operations.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on operational deviations or critical issues.
  • Coordinate with vessels to evaluate and meet overall operational needs.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a ship captain on oil tankers or LPG vessels, along with at least 5 years of shore-based experience in marine operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic maritime laws, conventions, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
