Our Client is a licensed crypto market making and fund management company. They are looking for a Senior Business Development Officer . The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic relationships with crypto exchanges, TradFi trading platforms, banks, and other key stakeholders. Responsibilities 1. Partnership Development & Relationship Management Source, evaluate, and onboard new crypto exchanges, TradFi trading platforms, and liquidity venues. Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, custodians, and institutional partners. Act as the primary point of contact for counterparties, ensuring seamless communication and operational execution. Negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, and partnership agreements to optimize profitability and strategic positioning. Manage ongoing partner relationships to ensure long-term collaboration and growth. 2. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion Identify and analyze new market opportunities in the crypto and traditional finance sectors to expand the company’s trading footprint. Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute BD strategies aligned with company goals. Develop and present detailed business cases for new opportunities, including ROI analysis, risk assessments, and market insights. Stay informed on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions. 3. Onboarding & Integration Coordinate with internal teams (Legal & Compliance, Operations, Technology) to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners and platforms. Oversee the KYC/AML documentation and compliance requirements for new relationships. Facilitate the integration of trading platforms, APIs, and operational workflows with counterparties. 4. Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation Represent the company in high-level negotiations with external stakeholders, exchanges, and banks. Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and strategic forums to enhance the company’s market presence. Provide regular reports to senior management on BD activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the trading, risk, compliance, and operations teams to align BD initiatives with operational capabilities.
