Roles & ResponsibilitiesJob Description:The Chef is responsible for all day-to-day management of the restaurant, kitchen, and catering requirements at the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves creating and revising recipes, seeking out new ingredients, delegating kitchen tasks, staying up-to-date on current food trends and techniques, and ensuring compliance with local health department codes.Assist chef & cook with the smooth running of kitchen operations.Proven work experience and proficiency in both North and South Indian dishes.Ability to handle and cook large quantities of multi-Indian cuisine, including gravies.Manage stocks of spices, dry and wet groceries, and supervise mixtures.Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe at all times according to SFA standards.Ensure food safety and maintain good quality of food and its ingredients.Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Take over ad-hoc duties during manpower shortages.Willingness to work on Sundays and public holidays.Check and replenish ingredients on a daily basis.Maintain kitchen equipment and machines.Maintain stocks according to requirements.Job Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of required experience.Proven work experience and proficiency in both North and South Indian dishes (added advantage).Able to work on weekends and public holidays.Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.Ability to work and stand for long hours.#J-18808-Ljbffr
