What's the role?We're looking for a strategic Global Head of Market Research to lead our Market Research team in delivering a deep understanding of consumer and shopper needs, behaviors, and motivations. Based in Singapore, this senior leadership role transforms data into actionable insights and foresights that guide strategic data driven decisions across the business – helping Zespri better serve its consumers and shoppers while gaining a sustainable competitive advantage. As a strategic cross‐functional partner, you'll collaborate across functions and geographies to embed insight‐led thinking into decision‐making at every level. By setting the vision and strategy for Market Research globally, you'll influence business priorities, shape brand development, and portfolio of the future, understand source of value and ensure Zespri remains competitive, consumer‐centric, and future‐ready. Key Accountabilities include: Vision – Define and communicate the vision and strategic priorities for Zespri's global market research and insights program, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth aspirations. Strategic Insight & Growth – Lead the development of a global insights framework to uncover growth opportunities, anticipate future consumer trends, analyze category dynamics, and monitor competitive moves, turning data into compelling, actionable narratives that inspire and mobilise. Portfolio & Innovation – Drive portfolio & innovation strategy by segmenting demand spaces, guiding data‐driven decisions, co‐creating winning concepts, informing pricing and demand models, . Brand & Consumer Understanding – define target audiences for growth, shape brand strategy and positioning by deeply understanding consumer needs and behaviors, co‐developing insight‐led communications, and identifying drivers of demand and pricing power. Performance Measurement – Design and implement a comprehensive measurement framework for brand equity, media performance, shopper behavior, consumer product experience, and customer satisfaction. Data & Analytics Excellence – Ensure operational excellence by building secure, scalable data systems, leveraging visualization tools for actionable insights, and driving automation and advanced analytics for speed and efficiency. Leadership & Collaboration – Lead and inspire a high‐performing global team, turning data into compelling insights and narratives that engage senior leadership, fostering a culture of curiosity, and future‐focused thinking, driving collaboration across regions, and ensuring strategic, efficient use of resources. Who are you?The successful candidate will be a strategic, commercially savvy leader with deep expertise in consumer insights innovations, market research, have proven experience in FMCG or trade marketing or research environments, and a track record of delivering results through major cross‐functional projects.
