**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the research team and oversee the whole research process for executive search assignments.
- Responsible for staying up to date on industry trends and developments, and for building and maintaining a network of industry contacts.
- Developing and implementing research processes and tools, managing, and mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the firm.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 15 years of work experience in human capital consulting/management consulting environment
- Strong analytical skills: The ability to analyze large amounts of data and information, and turn it into actionable insights, is crucial for this role.
- Leadership: The head of research must be able to lead a team of researchers and be able to delegate tasks effectively.
- Strategic thinking: The head of research must be able to think strategically and understand the big picture in order to make effective hiring decisions.
- Adaptability: The head of research must be able to adjust to changes in the market and adapt to new technologies and trends.
