The Head (Research and Analysis) will support analysis work involving a variety of data sources, including internal surveys and studies, internal administrative and reported data, external reports and external data; and communicating findings to various stakeholders, including senior management. The work may also include designing and undertaking research work, e.g. surveys and case studies, and working with external providers of research services, as well as identifying key trends and driving forces at the global/national level and PA’s operating context (i.e community and organisational levels) to derive insights.

**What you will be working on**
- **Collaborate with stakeholders to design surveys and studies to support strategic planning and/or to enhance operational effectiveness.**:

- **Undertake the entire end-to-end lifecycle of the research process including clarifying the business issues, research objectives, research questions, literature review, questionnaire, research design, sample size, qualitative and quantitative analyses, resourcing and timeline, tender specification and tender process/management.**:

- **Undertake the data collection process such as conducting interviews and focus-group discussions to understand and document success factors.**:

- **Sense-make system data and research findings within Division, PA, across government agencies and in open sources that support strategic insights for PA.**:

- **Process large amounts of information from the analyses and identify relevant pieces to develop a coherent and comprehensive understanding of your area of research.**:

- **Communicate insights from area of research to stakeholders.**:

- **Observe key trends and driving forces at the global/national level and PA’s operating context to derive insights that helps inform internal strategies and guide decision making.**:
