**What the role is**
- You will support the organisation’s strategic move towards inculcating a more evidence-based decision-making culture in the organisation. You will also conceptualise and implement research activities; analyse and examine qualitative/quantitative data from varied sources; and overlay key trends and driving forces at the global/national level with PA’s operating context to derive insights.
You will work with other stakeholder Divisions to assess and advise on the research/programme evaluation proposals that are anchored in supporting operational effectiveness and strategic planning. In addition, you will guide other Divisional Points of Contact (POCs) on research matters.

**What you will be working on**

Build and manage the entire end-to-end lifecycle of the research process involving clarifying the business issues, research objectives, research questions, literature review, questionnaire, research design, sample size, qualitative and quantitative analyses, resourcing and timeline, tender specification and tender process/management.

Develop micro-studies on community building processes and over time, harness insights to understand different community building models to support PA’s core skillsets.

Study key trends and driving forces at the global/national level and PA’s operating context to derive insights that helps inform internal strategies and guide decision making.

Assess and support other Divisions in their research endeavours by assessing and providing expert views on their research/programme evaluation proposal, design and questionnaire as well as developing appropriate indicators and data collection methods.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience as a research officer or analyst with good grounding in research methods and/or statistics
- Experience in conceptualising, developing and implementing research proposals, managing the entire continuum of research activities that spans the research lifecycle
- Experience in using statistical tools such as SPSS to perform advanced quantitative and/or qualitative analyses
- Experience in performing content analyses for text-based data
- Competency in NVivo, R and/or Tableau, and futures tools is an added advantage
