Job Description Prepares statements will full details on the actual work carried out for presentation to Owners and to resolve or clarify any dispute Sources for competitive sub-contractors / vendors in order to submit realistic quotations promptly Finalises additional cost with subcontractors Understands the work specification and quotations in order to raise variations to the work which have to be brought to the immediate attention of the attending Superintendent Prepares bills intelligently in accordance with the work specification and quotations with minimum guidance Negotiates bills independently and amicably with Subcontractors as per limit set by Commercial Managers Carries out performance assessment for subordinates during performance appraisal review Ensures disciplinary matters are reported to Manager and dealt with promptly and appropriately Job Requirement Degree/ Diploma in Naval Architecture/ Marine and Offshore / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment Our Addresses Seatrium - Tuas Boulevard Yard 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore (Islandwide transport provided) Our Working Hours Mon – Thurs: 8:00am – 5:15pm Fri: 8:00am – 4:30pm Interested candidates are invited to send us an updated resume with your current and expected salary and earliest availability.
