Job Description – Solutions Presales Engineer
The Area: The Solutions Team
The Solutions Team is responsible for putting together integrated solutions for Physical Security Projects. Our Team is vital to the operations of the company and we assist the Sales Team in pursuing various projects in all segments, including Government, Commercial, Education, SME, Gaming, Military, and Oil & Gas. We provide System Designs, POC (proof of concepts), and Product Training to our customers.
The Role: Solutions Presales Engineer
Our team of high-achieving business development managers, sales, and marketing professionals works with a vast array of partners and customers to advance the company's mission of becoming a One Stop Security Solutions Provider. As a Solutions Presales Engineer, you will provide technical support for our key solutions, including Digifort, Hanwha Vision, Bosch Video Systems, Ipsotek, Optex, and Synectics. You will work closely with fellow engineers and product managers from suppliers to provide workable solutions to our customers.
Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):
Presales role for Enterprise Projects.
Support customer sites for product demonstrations, gathering implementation requirements, and Proof of Concepts.
Work closely with the Sales, Engineering, and Professional Services organizations to provide integrated systems.
Participate in writing technical proposals in response to customer requests.
Assist partners and customers in deploying Enterprise solutions.
Stay current with industry trends by proactively communicating with manufacturers and attending meetings with partners and customers.
Conduct technology presentations and training sessions for customers and partners.
Note: In addition to the Essential Functions, also perform similar work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Diploma in Engineering or related technical field (In lieu of diploma, 4 years relevant work experience), Singaporean Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong network knowledge and troubleshooting skills with a good understanding of Windows system environment and software.
· Hands-on experience with Enterprise Security Solutions.
· Outstanding follow-through, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.
