About the Role

Our client, a leading media organization at the forefront of content, digital innovation, and audience engagement, is seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead and scale their advertising and media sales function. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, building strategic client relationships, and spearheading advertising monetization across their proprietary platforms.

As the Senior Sales Director, you will oversee high-performing sales teams, develop integrated media solutions, and collaborate closely with editorial, marketing, and digital teams to deliver impactful campaigns for brands and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for media/advertising solutions across all proprietary platforms.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, media agencies, and brand partners.
  • Identify new revenue streams, sponsorship opportunities, and innovative ad formats.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and product teams to create compelling media solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in media and advertising sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced media environment.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising and media landscape in Singapore.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and hands-on execution ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with top-tier brands and agencies is essential.
