About the Venture We're launching a boutique aquarium platform that blends retail with education and community. From rare aquatic species to sustainable tank setups, our goal is to become Singapore's go-to destination for fish-keeping enthusiasts, hobbyists, and eco-conscious families. This isn't just a pet store—it's a hub for aquatic lifestyle and learning. Role Overview As Co-Founder or Partner, you'll help shape the business from the ground up: sourcing inventory, designing the customer experience, building supplier relationships, and growing a loyal community. You'll bring your expertise—whether in aquatics, retail, or entrepreneurship—and co‐lead the journey toward a thriving, values‐driven business. ️ Responsibilities Co‐develop the shop's brand, layout, and product strategy Source and manage inventory: fish, corals, tanks, accessories, and supplies Build relationships with breeders, wholesalers, and eco‐friendly suppliers Oversee daily operations, customer service, and staff (if applicable)Design educational content, workshops, or events for customers Manage finances, marketing, and regulatory compliance Ideal Candidate Passionate about aquatics, marine ecosystems, or pet retail Experience in retail, entrepreneurship, or aquarium care Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Comfortable with hands‐on work and customer‐facing roles Excited to build something meaningful from scratch Bonus Points Prior experience running a pet shop or aquarium business Knowledge of aquascaping, water chemistry, or marine biology Familiarity with Singapore's licensing and animal welfare regulations Interest in sustainability and eco‐conscious retail #J-18808-Ljbffr
