Job Title: Senior Paraplanner (Team Lead)

As a seasoned professional, you will manage the paraplanning function, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reports are delivered to support advisers.

  • The role involves leading the paraplanning team, setting standards for report quality and turnaround times.
  • You will mentor junior paraplanners, providing feedback on technical work and managing workflow allocation across the team.
  • This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to research products, funds, and planning strategies.
  • You will draft and review suitability reports, proposals, and recommendation letters, as well as provide technical support to advisers on complex cases.
  • In addition, you will attend client meetings to explain technical detail where needed.
  • To excel in this role, you must be able to streamline report templates and paraplanning workflows, embed cash flow modelling software into client reviews, and drive adoption of the new CRM system.
  • Compliance and quality assurance are also key aspects of this position, requiring you to ensure all reports meet regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years' experience in paraplanning or financial planning, preferably with some advisory experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of international planning, investment platforms, and life insurance wrappers is essential.
  • Familiarity with cash flow modelling and CRM systems is desirable.
