Job Overview

The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of hotel guests by maintaining clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas.

  • To provide exceptional hospitality experience, the Room Attendant must ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards, including guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Collection and signing in/out of keys for assigned areas is an essential task that requires attention to detail and responsibility.
  • The Room Attendant must ensure trolleys are fully stocked with linens and supplies needed for room cleaning, adhering to housekeeping requirements.
  • Cleaning of guest rooms and check-out rooms according to established protocols ensures a seamless guest experience.
  • Replenishing room supplies and toiletries is crucial in ensuring guests' satisfaction and providing a comfortable stay.
  • Maintenance of the maid pantry and service area daily ensures efficiency and organization.
  • Removal of dirty service trays, trolleys, cutleries, and crockeries from guest corridors maintains a hygienic environment.
  • Verification of room status against daily reports ensures accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reporting maintenance defects to the housekeeping office and lost and found items to relevant departments demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction and employee responsibilities.

Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping is preferred, along with skills in water management, sanitation, physically fit, communication skills, furniture handling, and hospitality services.
