Overview

Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is Singapore’s national association for company directors. Formed in 1998, its mission is to uplift the directorship profession and champion good governance. Its membership comprises board directors, company leaders, and professionals with an interest in corporate governance. A Governing Council guides the direction and work of the organisation, and SID Committees comprise industry professionals, academics and corporate governance experts. The SID Academy is our centre of excellence for bespoke corporate training, whole-of-board services and training for board adjacent professionals. The SID Academy aims to provide boards and senior leaders with best-in-class training, services and resources to navigate the complexities of the modern boardroom. The SID Academy is staffed by the Accreditation & Professional Development (APD) department, which you will be a part of. The APD department oversees the development of accreditation frameworks and tools, as well as new programmes and courses to support the strengthening of SID\'s positioning in the market as a thought leader for all things directorship and governance, and a standard bearer for good governance. As part of your role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Board Programmes. Your role will also include working with SID’s Accreditation & Professional Development Committee, the SID Executive Team, eco-system partners, and any other relevant committees or working groups as assigned by the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a proactive and polished Senior Executive, Board Programmes to join the SID Academy. This is a crucial role designed to support our Academy in expanding our reach and impact within the corporate sector. Your primary mission is to drive the adoption of SID Academy\'s programmes by identifying, nurturing, and securing new corporate clients in Singapore and regionally.
  • Proactively identify and research target companies to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and conduct targeted outbound outreach to prospective clients.
  • Qualify leads through effective needs analysis, setting the stage for successful engagement by the Senior Manager.
  • Meticulously maintain client data, relationships and track revenue activities.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, reports, and proposals on programme metrics, updates, and achievements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee process efficiency, budget and cost management for key projects.
