Japanese Sous Chef

Job Title: Sous Chef (Japanese Cuisine)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a well-established F&B operator in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of multi-concept gastrobars.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new recipes, menus, and culinary concepts
- Valid food hygiene certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or gastrobark setting
- Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM
