Job Title: Senior Linux Systems Administrator
Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Linux systems administrator to manage and maintain its RHEL systems across dev, test, and production environments.
- Design, implement, and support OpenShift platforms for application deployments.
- Administer and troubleshoot JBoss application servers for stable and secure systems.
- Utilize Red Hat Satellite for provisioning, patching, and configuration of RHEL systems.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Document system configurations and processes for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration, focusing on RHEL.
- Strong experience with OpenShift, JBoss, and Red Hat Satellite technologies.
- Advanced RHEL troubleshooting and administration skills.
- Proficiency in containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of networking, configuration management (Ansible/Puppet), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK).
- Preferred: RHCSA/RHCE certifications, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, databases, HA/DR solutions.
