We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our critical Linux infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of enterprise-grade systems across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu/Debian).
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform, cloud APIs).
  • Support Linux systems on high-density HPE Enterprise Hardware (MoonShot, ProLiant).
  • Deploy and manage Linux environments in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud setups.
  • Implement and optimize Linux system monitoring (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Icinga, etc.).
  • Create Linux binary packages from source (RPM/DPKG).
  • Support virtualization technologies (QEMU/KVM, VMware).
  • Manage automated OS/application installations (e.g., Kickstart).
  • Collaborate on security initiatives, identity management (Azure AD, SAML, Active Directory), and SIEM solutions (Splunk).
  • Contribute to technical documentation, process improvements, and change management.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Linux administration (senior-level).
  • RHCE certified (or equivalent deep Linux expertise).
  • Strong experience with:
    • Linux automation at scale (Ansible, Terraform, Cloud APIs).
    • Linux packaging (RPM/DPKG).
    • Monitoring and logging platforms.
    • TCP/IP networking and IT security concepts.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).
  • Exposure to FreeBSD, embedded Linux, or SAP on Linux (nice to have).
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Azure cloud services (SaaS/PaaS desirable).
    • Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML SSO.
    • VMware and Microsoft Windows Server/desktop systems.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Thin/Zero Client architectures.
  • Knowledge of Linux Kernel internals.
  • ITIL framework experience.
  • International/multi-regional IT operations exposure.
