Linux System Administrators are crucial to the success of our IT infrastructure. As a senior system administrator, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain our Linux platforms across Asia-Pacific.

You will act as the escalation point for incidents and guide the deployment of new services. Your role requires strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, including installation, patching, upgrades, and services such as NFS, LDAP, and cron.
  • Automate baseline installs and updates, manage services at boot-level, networking, users/groups, disk volumes (LVM, dm-multipath), SELinux/PAM.
  • Monitor, tune, backup, and proactively fix performance issues.
  • Create and run Shell/perl/awk scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with peer teams and infrastructure stakeholders across business units.
  • Provide level-3 support for major incidents, and participate in rollout of new services.
Requirements

  • A minimum RHCSA certification, with RHCE preferred.
