ACMV Engineer (Mechanical / Sub Con) Job Overview
As a highly skilled ACMV engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical ventilation systems in various construction projects. Your expertise in designing and supervising the installation of these systems will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Supervision: You will be responsible for monitoring and supervising sub-contractors' work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples. This includes liaising with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, main contractors, or clients on these matters.
- Alignment and Compliance: Review and align ACMV design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines. Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
- Project Management: Manage and execute projects as per deadlines. Attend meetings with subcontractors, contractors, or clients to address issues and update progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Preferably candidate with relevant working experience in the Construction Industry, especially in ACMV system installation.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge in ACMV Systems, Local/International Code of Practice/Standard, Green Mark Requirement, Hydronic/Static Calculation, BIM, Revit, AutoCAD would be an advantage.
