Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) specialist to join our team. As an EHS specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

  • Lead and organize WSH meetings, conduct site inspections, audit, and follow up on actions.
  • Provide EHS support to the project team.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain effective EHS management systems at project sites.
  • Conduct team/individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups.
  • Enforce safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Ensure legal compliance as per statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular WSH inspections on general safety practices and audit to ensure that staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards.
  • Prepare and/or submit safety reports and necessary audits.
  • Assist the company in safety-related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the Building Construction Industry.
  • Possess relevant safety certificates (e.g., Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety Health and Environment.
  • Familiar with ISO 45001 documentation.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
