Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) specialist.
- Lead and organize workplace safety meetings, conduct site inspections, audits, and follow up on actions.
- Provide EHS support to project teams.
- Plan, implement, and maintain effective EHS management systems at project sites.
- Conduct team/individual workplace safety and health environment inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups.
- Enforce safety standards in accordance with statutory regulations.
- Evaluate compliance with occupational safety health and environmental laws.
- Ensure general safety practices comply with policies and standards.
- Prepare and submit safety reports and necessary audits.
- Support the organization in obtaining safety-related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the building construction industry.
- Possess relevant safety certificates (e.g., Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of government regulations relating to occupational safety health and environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 documentation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
