The Learning Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programmes that meet the diverse needs of corporate clients and industry partners such as trades and associations. The role involves managing learning initiatives locally and internationally, ensuring effective skill-building and knowledge transfer. The Learning Specialist will also establish strategic partnerships with industry associations and oversee corporate client training to support business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesPartnerships with Trades & AssociationsBuild and maintain relationships with key industry partners, trades, and professional associations to develop specialized training programs.Collaborate with association leadership to ensure training content aligns with industry standards and enhances member skills.Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and association events to promote learning initiatives and build partnerships.Provide regular updates to trades and associations regarding new learning opportunities and training outcomes.Overseas Market TrainingDevelop and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of overseas markets and ensuring cultural relevance.Partner with local stakeholders in international regions to customize and implement training that meets the needs of overseas clients.Facilitate in-person training sessions for global audiences, ensuring smooth coordination across time zones.Corporate Client TrainingEngage with corporate clients to assess their training needs and design customise programmes that align with their business objectives.Ensure training content is up-to-date and aligned with corporate clients’ evolving needs, focusing on improving workforce capabilities and performance.Monitor and evaluate the success of training programs through client feedback, performance metrics, and post-training assessments.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with subject matter experts, and external stakeholders to ensure training objectives align with organizational and market needs.Regularly communicate with corporate clients, trade partners, and associations to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.Act as the point of contact for corporate clients and external partners regarding learning solutions and program updates.QualificationsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in learning and development, corporate training, or partnership development with trades/associations.Skills & Abilities:Promoting and selling preferably around learning and development or human capital solutions and outsourcing to enterprise clientsStrong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Proven experience in facilitating both local and international training programs.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners (e.g., associations, corporate clients).Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and project management skills.Ability to work across cultures and adapt training strategies to various learning styles.Well organized, meticulous and ability to manage multiple projects at the same timePersonal AttributesProven ability to plan, promote and secure winning contracts with corporate clients and trade partners.Results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving annual sales targets between $600k to $1 M.Capable of supporting and leading business development campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling, outcome-driven learning solutions and innovative business models that meet client needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
