Technical Leader - Ship Management System

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Leader to lead the development of our Ship Management System (SMS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in system architecture design, system maintenance, and networking, with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Job Description

The Technical Leader will be responsible for designing and developing the Ship Management System (SMS) to meet customer requirements. This includes integrating the SMS with third-party systems to ensure seamless operation, coordinating and managing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to Work (STW), and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT).

  • Design and Development: Design and develop the Ship Management System (SMS) to meet customer requirements.
  • System Integration: Integrate the SMS with third-party systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Coordinate and manage Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Set to Work (STW), and Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT).
  • Technical Documentation: Create software configuration and technical documentation to support the SMS.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and perform hardware and software maintenance to ensure the SMS operates efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system architecture design, system maintenance, or networking.
  • Experience in site testing and commissioning.
  • Knowledge in PLC programming and SCADA software.
  • Knowledge in control & instrumentation, and control system design.
  • Knowledge in computer administration, cybersecurity, and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of standard industrial protocols like Modbus RTU/TCP, RS422/485, NMEA, CANbus J
