Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving complex engineering problems and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

You will work closely with our project teams to maintain our analytical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to coordinate actions and obtain expert input from our team members.

  • Resolving complex engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions; preparing technical drawings and diagrams; evaluating components, materials, and suppliers; resolving design integration issues; developing specifications and safety standards; performing installations.
  • Maintaining project team accomplishments by communicating essential information; coordinating actions; obtaining expert input; reviewing open issues and action items; contributing information to team meetings and reports; escalating project completion impediments.
  • Ensuring operation of analytical equipment by calibrating equipment; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping and safety of working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Professional Certification, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Microelectronics, Aeronautical, Electronic and Electrical).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting of complex or advanced machineries. Semiconductor Front Wafer Fabrication Plants or other Equipment Engineering environment will be added advantage.
  • Ability to assess, troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical parts and components.
  • Ability to manage basic engineering projects such as test fixtures and platform and writing of SOP will be added advantage.
  • Able to read basic mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and technical specification documentation.
