What You Will Be Working On We are seeking an experienced Network Specialist with expertise in both cloud and on-premise network architecture and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, DNS, Peering services, WAF, Firewalls, CDN, traffic managers, application gateways, load balancers, network monitoring, core and access switches, network access control, wireless controllers and access points, DNS, and network segregation planning, administration, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Design and Implement WAF Solutions: Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure WAF policies to protect against cyber threats. Monitor and Maintain WAF: Implement proactive monitoring, conduct regular analysis, and execute maintenance. Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to standards and compliance requirements. Training and Continuous Improvement: Deliver best practices guidelines and stay updated on security trends and new technologies. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on Web Application Firewalls Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams; ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders In-depth knowledge of cloud network architecture and services, particularly within the Azure ecosystem Solid understanding of on-premises network routing, switching, and WAN services Expertise in Azure WAF technologies and familiarity with other WAF solutions (e.g., AWS WAF, F5 BIG-IP ASM)Strong grasp of web application security principles and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)Proven experience in designing and managing Azure Web Application Firewalls Experience with log analysis tools and security information and event management (SIEM) systems Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, CISSP)Desired Qualities Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Empathy and the ability to understand diverse perspectives. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
