Solutions Engineer, Cloud

Overview We are seeking a senior Solutions Engineer (SE) – Cloud & Ecosystem Partners in our APJC Partner organization. You will lead the technical sales of our solutions across a number Cloud, Ecosystem and industry partners. You will work with your sales peers to engage with partners in positioning Cisco products & solutions with Cloud, Ecosystem and industry partners. You will work with partners in identifying joint opportunities where Cisco portfolio can add value to their solutions. Jointly work with partners in developing joint value proposition, identify target markets and customers where we could land and monetize the solutions. Engage with the field sales on partners & Cisco in driving the mindshare for joint solutions. Work with partners in joint customer and partner mindshare, demand generation events. Engage with product team and global team in influencing and driving product gaps and partner solutions needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Broad Cisco portfolio, strong understanding of Cisco datacenter and Cloud technology and experience relaying technical concepts to a diverse audience. Responsibilities Lead the technical sales of Cisco solutions across Cloud, Ecosystem and industry partners. Collaborate with sales peers to engage with partners and position Cisco products & solutions. Identify joint opportunities where Cisco portfolio can add value to partner solutions. Develop joint value propositions with partners and identify target markets and customers. Partner with field sales to drive mindshare for joint solutions. Coordinate with partners on joint customer and partner mindshare and demand generation events. Engage with product teams to influence and drive product gaps and partner solution needs. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Cisco portfolio, data center and cloud technology and relay technical concepts to diverse audiences. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of technical presales experience (preferably selling Compute, Storage, and/or Network solutions). Good understanding of hyperscaler technologies, data center solutions. Ability to engage with partners & customers in joint value proposition. Excellent presentation skills – ability to value-sell and deliver engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences on AI and/or infrastructure topics. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in Data Science is a plus. Experience with Cloud infrastructure solutions, including Cloud Networking & Security. In-depth understanding of Cloud technologies and Cyber security. Experience working with Cloud solutions, IT / IoT solutions and industry solutions.
