Solutions Architect

Overview Solutions Architect (SA) is a key pre-sales technical position in Alibaba Cloud international business division. Our SAs are experienced cloud architects with comprehensive IT knowledge and industry insight and are, ultimately, the key to success on implementing projects. Solutions Architects are responsible for developing solutions in Alibaba Cloud and helping customers and partners to develop their applications and services on the Alibaba Cloud platform. Responsibilities Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Produce market insight analysis reports of segmented fields based on demand information such as market development trend, market space, core scenarios and pain points; collect competitive information and provide differentiated competitive solutions through analysis of strategies and scenarios of competing pairs in competitive projects. Business Opportunity Identification & Pre-sales Guidance: Provide pre-sales guidance to key customer decision makers, engage in dialogue using the customer’s language to gain trust, explore real needs, and form effective business opportunities; deeply explore the customer’s business technology status and development trend, and establish complete and accurate customer business technology documentation. Solution Design & Promotion: Produce targeted solutions based on customer needs; develop correct product selection strategy, POC test strategy, bidding and bid strategies, product configuration strategy, achieve contract signing, and continuously increase Alibaba Cloud’s market share; promote incubation and replication of public cloud solutions in segmented fields; identify and address risks during the solution landing process, collaborate with product and delivery teams for fulfillment, and achieve revenue conversion. Capability Accumulation & Empowerment: Accumulate knowledge documentation such as universal cloud architecture templates, best practices, and cases for segmented fields/scenarios; provide presentations, evangelism and empowerment training for sales teams and ecosystem partners. Product Requirements & Defect Feedback: Abstract and summarize product requirements and defects in segmented fields, promote product improvement, new product projects, major function launches, and enhance product competitiveness. Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or in any related fields Minimum 5 years of experience working and consulting on enterprise architecture design with a strong understanding of customer needs and requirements Strong business acumen to explore the value cloud computing brings to customers Good technical hands-on ability to help clients develop reasonable cloud migration strategies and solutions, with deep engagement in technical details Proactive optimization mindset to assist clients in deepening cloud understanding, promoting cloud deployment optimization, cost optimization, and technological transformation Strong sense of ownership with a customer-centric approach; excellent self-learning, teamwork, and communication skills Rich experience in building and optimizing cloud architectures, or development experience, and good customer service experience Proficiency in one or more technical domains such as computing, networking, storage, big data, AI/ML, containers, microservices architecture, DevOps, and agile development Experience in one of the following industry IT solutions: FSI, Retail, Web3.0, Media, Public Sector Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin (read and speak) as the role will collaborate with the team in China Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Technology, Information and Media, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Software Development Get notified about new Solutions Architect jobs in Singapore, Singapore. #J-18808-Ljbffr
