Overview Senior Staff-Solution Delivery Architect role at GE Vernova Digital Grid. The Delivery Architect designs, implements, and oversees the technical architecture for software implementation services bids and projects. Ensure the proposed solution is best in class and meets customer functional and non-functional requirements, project budget and timescale. Responsibilities Lead technical teams in the implementation and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. Work with Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager) to interact with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal solution design based on scope, customer requirements and solution capabilities. End to End Design Leadership (Pre-sales + Delivery): facilitate requirements, design and solutions workshops; own design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents); ensure traceability; create and review architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides; communicate design to customer and stakeholders; manage involvement of SMEs and ensure contributions meet requirements. Drive excellence: continuous improvement, collaborate with sales/presales to develop proposals and SoWs; coordinate knowledge sharing; build technical expertise; deliver technical consultancy; build standard policies and templates. Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering for feedback and reference architectures. Qualifications At least 10 years of deep technical design-focused expertise and hands-on experience with development and architecture in Industrial solutions & Electrification Software in Utilities (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, CERMS/DERMS, Grid and Market Management Systems). Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science/Electrical) or similar. Familiarity with design principles, coding, scripting, OS (Linux), version control, virtualization, cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure), microservices. Experience with cloud technologies, containers, Kubernetes; strong cloud architecture understanding. Knowledge of architectural structures, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, multi-site deployments. Strong problem-solving and leadership of large projects; ability to lead technically and architect complex solutions. Awareness of presales activities, SoW creation, services estimation; ability to produce clear documentation. Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, capable of engaging with executives and stakeholders. Proactive, customer-facing with focus on meeting customer needs. Exposure to iterative product development and program management (Agile, SAFe, Scrum, DevOps).
