Roles & Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION: Department: Regional Procurement Reports to: Singapore Functional Relationships with: Procurement Division, Murata Headquarters Regional SCM planning for Philippine and Singapore Procurement Divisions. Position Profile: Based in Singapore, the Regional Procurement Senior Executive will support to established satellite office function on the Regular Supplier Management Operations and Administrations of procurement divisions in Singapore. She/ He will also assist Singapore procurement division in market research and sourcing of vendors within Japan & ASEAN region. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group company in Japan. To initiate periodical meetings with Japan HQ or other group company to solve problems in own division. Supporting Satellite Office functions in implementing the recommendations from category strategies by completing relevant procurement activity and participating in related projects and monitor contract performance to ensure that the benefits set out in the related category sourcing strategy are realized. Taking responsibility for leading projects and procurement activities as designated. Reviewing spend data and develop market knowledge / intelligence in specific categories to compile appropriate contract documentation ensuring contracts are developed, delivered and managed in line with regional needs and objectives. Facilitating, lead and support procurement meetings in respect of contracts/projects to support the aims and objectives of Satellite Office. Working with appropriate stakeholders to ensure robust contract management and monitoring arrangements are implemented and maintained throughout the lifespan of the contract and to drive improvements and develop supplier relationships. Fostering good relationships with all relevant stakeholders at a regional / Japan level and identify opportunities to develop new or stronger partnerships. Utilizing procurement systems to ensure a high level of accuracy of information is maintained. Maintaining records and ensure issues are escalated to managers promptly so that underperformance or concerns can be addressed. ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration / Global Human Sciences / Marketing, Supply Chain Management or Engineering) and at least 3 years of procurement experience in Electronic Company, Semiconductor Company, original equipment manufacturers, Electronics components manufacturers, design Service Company in incubator/accelerator. Knowledge and experience on raw material electronic division will be advantage. Good mentoring skills and team player. Pro-active, strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills. Fluent Japanese & English skills to liaise with Japan & ASEAN suppliers. Positive attitude in challenging work environment. Good Presentation Skill. Able to travel and possibly attachment to overseas.
