Regional Growth Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Growth Manager to lead and execute commercial opportunities in the Greater China region.

  • Commercial Strategy:
    • Develop and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for our business in the Greater China region.
    • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the area.
    • Track market trends and competitor activities to inform commercial strategies.
  • Revenue Generation:
    • Lead sales efforts for paid content subscriptions, digital advertising, and sponsorship packages.
    • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with key clients, agencies, and partners.
    • Develop customized proposals and pitches to suit client objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with editorial, branding & marketing, content, and product teams to align business objectives with brand direction.
    • Provide market feedback to inform product development and content strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Set and track KPIs to measure business performance and ROI.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Business or a relevant field; candidates with proven experience in the media, publishing or digital content industry preferred.
  • Strong network and understanding of the Greater China market, especially in Shanghai and first-tier cities.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) as this role mainly supports Chinese products.
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
