The Assistant Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of public relations, communication and social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage target audience and drive business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, this position involves strategic planning, creative development and cross-functional collaborations.

Responsibilities
Content Development: Create compelling content such as copy for brochures, digital materials, and social media content, along with production of imagery and videography that align with brand messaging and objectives.
Market Research: Conduct market research and trend analysis to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences, ensuring content relevance and engagement while maintaining brand standards.
Content Quality: Ensure all content is accurate, up to date, and adheres to brand guidelines.
Public Relations and Communications: Act as liaison between the marketing communications department and internal teams or agencies on marketing plans and activations; collaborate with internal teams to manage information and media relations activities including drafting press releases, managing key appointments and maintaining the hotel\'s photo library.
Media Events and Activations: Execute and coordinate media events, community relations, and press promotional activations to ensure positive coverage and brand representation.
Campaigns and Events: Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event channels to promote the hotel, spa and dining establishments.
Media Relations and Contacts: Maintain a comprehensive list of local media contacts, editors, food critics, influencers, and celebrities.
Communications Calendar: Develop a schedule of press releases, advisories, promotions and newsworthy events for media outreach; ensure timely monthly media reporting.
Photography Coordination: Support and manage photography for advertising, collateral and public relations between the hotel, vendors and internal teams; coordinate with approved photographers for imagery and videography content to ensure alignment with brand voice.
Vendor and Brand Compliance: Act as the point of contact for photographers and coordinate with hotel and corporate teams to ensure adherence to brand voice.
Budget and Expenses: Assist in managing marketing-related expenses to ensure effective use of resources.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; use analytics to assess performance and recommend improvements.
Brand Equity: Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
3 to 5 years of luxury marketing experience in Public Relations, Communications and Social Media
Prior experience in agency and influencer management
Creative Skills: Ability to develop innovative marketing materials and engaging written and visual content
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyse marketing data to assess campaign performance
Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
