Business Development Manager Role

Job Description:

This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Analyse market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Forecast sales performance and set quarterly and annual sales targets for the region.
  • Lead and manage regional key initiatives, engage with country sales organisations, drive sales growth, and ensure execution of strategic initiatives and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager/Business Development Manager, preferably in a regional or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.
  • Willingsness to travel within the region as required.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or MBA.
  • Electric engineering major with sales/marketing experience in industrial sales.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
