Role Summary:

The Regional Business Growth Director is responsible for driving business expansion and generating new opportunities across their region. This position manages a team of business development specialists who build and maintain senior-level client relationships.

  • BUILD A SUCCESSFUL SALES TEAM: Lead the regional sales team to achieve revenue growth targets and drive business development in all individual territories;
  • DEVELOP BUSINESS LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Train, motivate, and develop a high-performing regional business development team with expertise in Masimo products and services;
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT: Develop and implement business growth strategies across all Masimo product lines and services, ensuring effective distribution management;
  • CLINICAL/TECHNICAL PRESENTATION TRAINING: Conduct training sessions on clinical and technical presentations, equipping the team with skills to engage customers and generate interest in Masimo solutions;
  • PRIORITY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve company revenue growth targets across the region, build positive relationships with the Masimo Clinical Support group and other colleagues, and take primary responsibility for corporate sales with homecare and long-term care regional accounts and selected distributors;
  • BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/SALES CONTACT: Serve as the primary corporate business development/sales contact for selected regional accounts and distributors, motivating the sales team to develop new business opportunities and manage existing relationships effectively;
  • MOTIVATE THE TEAM: Train and motivate the business development team to bring new business opportunities to Masimo, increase business development of Masimo solutions like Rainbow and Patient Safety Net, and have regional responsibility for business growth with current national accounts;
  • REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Take regional responsibility for business growth with members of contracted buying groups, develop a customer-facing field business development strategy, and prepare and maintain budgets for all activities;
  • MAXIMIZE PARTNERSHIPS: Maintain and maximize partnerships through proactive deployment and education of distributor and OEM partner sales forces and clinical specialists, maximizing penetration into each market and adhesive sensor usage;
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Prepare and maintain budgets for all activities, ensure accurate and timely reports regarding expenses, activities, results, market position, and forecasts, and present Masimo's value proposition to executive leaders in hospitals within the region;
  • FREQUENT TRAVEL SCHEDULE: Maintain a frequent travel schedule across ASEAN, conduct performance management discussions with the team, create training and employee development plans, and perform special projects as requested.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in field sales/business development management in the medical device industry, with a proven track record;
  • Prior experience with field sales management, customer service, channel management in the ASEAN market, and new business development;
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with and lead teams;
  • A flexible communication style, highly motivated, team approach, and excellent listening skills;
  • Strong sales presentation and relationship-building skills, compelling trainer experience, and ability to support strategic business development projects;
  • Organized and detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Experience communicating with and leading teams, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with a 'whatever it takes' philosophy;
  • Ability to maintain a multi-state territory travel schedule up to 70% of the time.
