We're seeking an experienced and dynamic Event & Customer Service Specialist to join our Events Program Services team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for our meeting and event program, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting a best-in-class Global Travel and Events organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for meeting and event requests, conducting discovery calls and providing consultative support
Guide customers through processes, policies, and procedures while ensuring alignment between service scope and expectations
Coordinate with Amazon Meetings and Events Team Members to address inquiries and resolve requests per established SLAs
Source and secure appropriate meeting spaces for event organizers
Maintain customer-facing resources including knowledge bases, FAQs, and support documentation
Manage daily labor requests and respond to inbound customer inquiries
Support development and delivery of communications, surveys, and marketing materials
Facilitate outreach, educational, and training activities
Support Global Travel and Events strategy as part of the central meetings & events team
Basic Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in meeting & events and/or hospitality industry
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
Demonstrated experience with common Meeting Management systems and tools
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Proven problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Meeting and Event technology tools
Third-party vendor/agency experience with direct customer interface
International meeting & event experience
